• After Prom

  After Prom (for Juniors and Seniors) will be held immediately following Prom in May. The event is traditionally organized by Junior Class parents, though other grade-level parents are welcome to participate.

• Book Swap (Primary School Event)

  Primary School students swap books they've read for ones read by classmates. Duties include collecting and organizing books prior to the sale and arranging volunteer staffing for the day of the sale, which is in February.

• Faculty and Staff Appreciation

  Organize special meals  and treats for faculty and staff on the first day of school and conference days. Organize Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day that takes place in May.

• Gator Lane Shop

  Staff Laurel’s spiritwear shop during the week and during special events. School day shop hours are Monday-Thursday 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. or by appointment. For more information, please visit www. • Green & White Day

  Help set up and facilitate the K-12 Green & White Day activities and assist with clean-up. This event takes place in May.

• LCRG Community Forums

  Help host two virtual parent forums per school year with Laurel School's Center for Research on Girls. The events are in October and March.

• Room Parents

  Parents work with teachers to organize class activities, parties, and other events that rely on parent volunteers. If interested, please sign up for the 2023-2024 school year. Please indicate desired class year (e.g., class of 2031). The Chairs of this group are the Division Coordinators.

• Sunshine Committee

  Work with other committee members to acknowledge both happy and difficult occasions for faculty, staff and families throughout the year.

• Upper School Dance Chaperones

  Volunteers chaperone Upper School dances held throughout the school year: Fall Dance in October; Winter Formal in January; Prom in May.
