Summer Languages Institute
The Summer Languages Institute introduces students to modern languages and gives them a foundation which they can use to enter a language class at their grade level. Chinese, French and Spanish are taught by Laurel faculty in  classes centered on a particular theme, such as animals and their habitats, cuisine, athletics and travel.

Girls Learning Through Experiential Education: GLEE
“GLEE goes camping…again!” is the theme of this year’s very popular camp! Girls learn the basic elements of camping, such as pitching a tent, cooking over a campfire, navigating the trails of Laurel’s Butler Campus, singing
campfire songs and much more. They experience the benefits of teamwork as they take on the low and high elements on Laurel’s Project Adventure course.
  LEAD!  (Leadership Education and Development)
Change your child’s life in a week! This is not a sports camp or an academic camp. This one-week intensive leadership skills camp lead by Effective Leadership
Academy (ELA) engages students in fun and interactive team scenarios to help them with problem-solving, goalsetting and leadership skills.

Shakespeare Rocks!
Regardless of one’s level of exposure to the genius of Shakespeare, campers rave about Laurel’s dramatic summer program, Shakespeare Rocks! During this two-week camp, student actors investigate the artistry and process of theater under the guidance of a classically-trained actor. After analyzing and interpreting text, campers learn to stage scenes and create characters using only their bodies, voices and imaginations. They use technologies old and new to design costumes, sets and staging for the selected plays.
Weekly Science Camps by Great Lakes Science Center
