We hope you will join us on Saturday, February 11, 2012, for a Gator Bash that promises to be spectacular! The 2012 planning committee is working hard to create an unforgettable evening at a fabulous venue for the benefit of our school.
In anticipation of the upcoming benefit, we are creating theme baskets from each grade, filled with coveted items for the event’s auction. And we need your help!
Please pick up a small item to contribute to your class basket and drop it off in your classroom (Pre-Primary & Primary) or your division office (Middle & Upper Schools) by Monday, February 6, 2012. We have made some suggestions for each theme, but welcome your creativity! If you don’t have time to shop, you can send us a check and we’ll do it for you! | 5th | BBQ: Apron, sauces, BBQ tools, marinade, spices, beer** |
| 6th | Spa: Bath oil, hand lotion, soaps, slippers, nail polish, hair products, spa certificates |
| 7th | The Best of Cleveland; Mitchell’s chocolate, books, photos, restaurant gift certificates |
| 8th | Wine: Wine glasses, bottle opener, wine tasting certificate, a bottle of your favorite wine** |
| 9th | Cooking and Kitchen Gadgets: Cookbooks, potholders, wooden spoons, chef’s apron |
| 10th | Family Night: Movie theater tickets, pizza gift card, ice cream sundae supplies, DVDs, putt putt golf |
| 11th | Gift Cards: Target, Legacy Village, Justice, Giant Eagle, Borders, restaurants |
| 12th | Electronics: iTunes gift cards, games, combine resources with other families to purchase a Kindle, iPod, iPhone or send us a check and we’ll purchase items on your behalf!* |
The grade with the most enthusiastic response (in terms of number and originality of items, not dollar value) will be treated to a SPECIAL SURPRISE!

* Checks payable to Laurel School can be mailed or delivered to Tracy Solan, Laurel Special Events Coordinator, by Monday, January 30. Please include the student’s name and grade on your check. Please do not send cash.
