  Dr. Ardeshir Hashmi, Cleveland Clinic Center for Geriatrics

  Dr. Ardeshir Z. Hashmi MD, FACP is the Endowed Chair of Geriatric Innovation and Section Chief of the Center for Geriatric Medicine at Cleveland Clinic.  
  Dr. Hashmi completed a two-year postdoctoral research fellowship at Yale University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the Yale-Saint Mary’s Hospital in Connecticut, where he served as Chief Medical resident. He then trained at Massachusetts General Hospital as a Clinical and Research Fellow in Geriatrics before becoming Faculty and then Medical Director of MGH Senior Health-Harvard Medicine. Dr. Hashmi subsequently transitioned to the Cleveland Clinic.

  Shorain McGhee, Bankruptcy and Guardianship Attorney

  For twenty years Shorain L. McGhee has been a practicing attorney, focusing in the areas of Guardianships, Bankruptcy and Juvenile Law. Making clients feel comfortable and secure through the legal process is her goal. After being a paralegal for seven years, Mrs. McGhee knew that she could better serve people as their attorney. During her journey as an attorney, she had the opportunity to serve as a Bailiff and Part-time Magistrate in the Juvenile Court, learning that our communities depend on our youth. She is married to Cory McGhee and has two children and lives in Twinsburg, Ohio. Working out at Crossfit Saol in Twinsburg is her favorite pastime activity.

  Margie Orth, Home Instead Senior Care

  Throughout her professional life, Margie Orth has been looking for ways to take care of people and pay her blessings forward. Joining the team at Home Instead in 2018 provided her with the opportunity to truly live her mission of service to others. Now, as General Manager, Margie leads by example as she nurtures Home Instead’s culture of gratitude among the staff and Caregivers. Before joining the team, she spent 30 years in the home safety industry, where she ran the day-to-day operations of a Cleveland-based security company. In her free time, Margie volunteered with various nonprofit organizations such as Cornerstone of Hope, which further encouraged and fueled her passion for helping others. She grew up in Brecksville-Broadview Heights and still calls the area home to this day. She attended the University of Toledo, and recently graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10K SMB program. Nothing is more important to Margie than her family and serving the greater Cleveland community. She believes, quite simply, that there is no greater gift you can give or receive than to honor your calling.

  Lisa Weitzman, Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging

  Lisa Weitzman is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging. In this role, she seeks to enhance Benjamin Rose’s role in the community through the development of local and national relationships. She also oversees the delivery of WeCare…Because You Do, a family caregiver support program, and has been instrumental in the launch of Nutrition Solution, a program to address food insecurity and social isolation through medically-tailored meals for chronically-ill older adults.
  
  A proud Laurel alum and parent, Lisa earned a BA in history with a concentration in American Foreign Policy from Yale University, an MA in Soviet Studies and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, and an MSW from Case Western Reserve University. She currently holds an LISW-S license and advanced certification in gerontology and case management.
