Heather Roulston Ettinger ‘79 Awarded Ruth B. Ginsburg Award
In June, Heather Roulston Ettinger ‘79, Managing Partner of Fairport Asset Management and the founder of Luma Wealth Advisors, received the Ruth Bader Ginsburg award for advancing the aspirations of women.
This award was presented by the Women’s Vote Project on June 4, 2019, the 100th anniversary of the day Congress passed the 19th Amendment.
Laurel School, a proud sponsor of the event which took place at the City Club of Cleveland, nominated Heather for this award. She has spent over 25 years working in the financial services industry and has co-authored two studies about the need for women to be recognized as advisors and as investors. Laurel has long been a proponent of empowering girls to be financially literate and as part of this effort, Luma Wealth has partnered exclusively with our School to establish the Luma Internship & Scholarship Program (LIS). This unique student engagement model will include a multi-year professional internship in the financial services industry tailored to the interests of the candidate, in conjunction with a scholarship award and mentorship.
Congratulations to Heather on this incredible and well-deserved honor!
