Four Laurel Middle School Students Qualify for Power of the Pen State Tournament

Congratulations to Avery Cooper ‘30, Sophia Nguyen-Huynh ‘29, Sophia Tsuang ‘29, and Finley Blackann ‘29 who have all qualified for the Power of the Pen State Tournament in May!

In the regional competition, which took place in March, Finley won Best of Round for her round 3 story “Fly’s Forgiveness”! This automatically qualifies her for States and ensures she will receive a "Best of Round" award at states. Well done!
