Chagrin Valley Times Highlights STEAM Curriculum via Guitar-Making Class

The Chagrin Valley Times recently visited Laurel's Butler Campus to learn more about how 15 Middle School students are using elements of science, technology, engineering, art and math to build custom guitars.
Seth Orbach, who teaches the yearly class, said "the beauty of it is that there is something for every student's interest. It encompasses everything." He continued that the goal is for the students to find what they enjoy most. "Every kid has a different set of interests. But mostly what I want them to gain is the confidence that they can handle tools, handle materials, figure out and solve complex problems by themselves. And, that they can learn new things." Click here to read the full article.
