Chagrin Valley Times Pays Visit to Third LaureLive

Chagrin Valley Times reporter Ryan Dentscheff spent Saturday, June 9 at Laurel's Butler Campus taking in the sites and sounds of the third LaureLive.
While there he met with Trey Wilson, Laurel's Director of Strategic Partnerships, and Ann V. Klotz, Headmistress, to discuss the role Laurel students play in putting on the two-day festival. Ann is quoted in the piece stating, "We feel like for the girls, their experience each year has grown. They feel so valued and so essential. And for us, that music with a mission part is what it's all about." Trey touched on how valuable it is that the students are engaged in all areas of the festival process. "They're doing everything from managing the stages, to doing interviews with the media, to helping the VIP tent, to selling merchandise, to working with the talent backstage. That's an experience that isn't replicable in any sort of school environment." Click here to read the full story.
