Lily Seeman '19 and Cassie Trykoff '19 Raise Record-Breaking $83,000 for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Leading Laurel's Team Hope, made up of several other Laurel students, they raised a record-breaking $83,000 and came in first out of 15 teams. A Cleveland.com story highlights the winners and states that, "Throughout the campaign, Lily and Cassie worked tirelessly to raise funds. Their work included fundraising efforts both at Laurel School in Shaker Heights and within the greater community." The funds they raised will provide a research grant to work toward a cure for blood cancers. The Sun Messenger also highlighted their incredible achievement. Congratulations!
