Students Present Art Renderings to City Planning Commission through "Shooting Without Bullets" Course

Congratulations to Rainah Ross '20 and Jaidah Allen '21, who recently completed a 12-week minicourse through "Shooting Without Bullets," a for-impact organization that works to eliminate the systemic barriers that prevent black and brown artists from thriving.
During the course, the girls used art as an activism model to explore gender and racial disparities while learning the basics of public art. Their art renderings will be included in a proposed public art piece that will be presented to the City Planning Commission next month.
