Tami Perkins Highlights How Parents Can Prep for an Open House in Cleveland Jewish News Story

Tami Perkins, Assistant Director of Middle and Upper School Admissions at Laurel, was featured in a recent Cleveland Jewish News article regarding parent preparation in advance of a school open house.
In the story she states that, "The most important thing to remember is that you can use this as a great educational opportunity." Tami goes on to say that, "Even teaching your child something as simple as how they can introduce themselves when someone looks at them and asks their name. At each level, you can prepare your child to talk to people, which is a skill that isn't just helpful at open houses." She also highlights that parents should research the school in advance of attending an open house to get the most from their visit. "Make a list of questions that are important to you." Click here to read more.
