Dr. Tori Cordiano Provides 6 Tips for Mandatory Family Bonding During a Pandemic in Your Teen Magazine

Dr. Tori Cordiano, Director of Research for Laurel's Center for Research on Girls recently weighed in on a Your Teen Magazine story offering advice on how to shelter in place with your teenagers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her tips range from focusing on kindness -- especially when being in close quarters with family for an extended amount of time can cause tensions to rise, to creating a private space for each family member. Dr. Cordiano also focuses on allowing teens especially to grieve for what they are missing by not being in school and socializing with friends. She also talks about setting important technology boundaries in a time when technology has become a lifeline for so many.
