Team Hope Raises $90k for Leukemia Lymphoma Society for Students of the Year Program

Congratulations to Emma Robbins '21, Nadia Ibrahim '21 and Camryn Houston '21, who together as Team Hope, raised $90k as participants in this year's Leukemia Lymphoma Society (LLS) "Students of the Year" program.
Together this team learned about the prevalence of blood cancers, visited the Taussig Cancer Center at the Cleveland Clinic, interacted with healthcare workers who are treating patients and conducting research locally, and launched a successful campaign to raise funds in support of research for a cure and patients and their families in treatment. In addition, Emma was the recipient of the Student of the Year Mission Award, which is given to the student who best represents LLS and its mission of ending blood cancers through volunteerism, outreach, advocacy and community involvement.
