Three Laurel Girls Top Winners in National Geographic Geo Bee

Congratulations to Leela Ionna '27, Ella Witalec '25 and Haley Wynbrandt '25, top winners in the National Geographic Geo Bee, an annual geography contest sponsored by the National Geographic Society to promote geographic knowledge among young people in the United States.

They went on to compete in an inter-scholastic bee with top winners from Hathaway Brown and University School. Congratulations also goes to Laurel finalists Elizabeth Northrop '27, Madeline Friedman '26, Maya Siegel '26 and Taryn Robinson '25, who also competed in the Geo Bee!
