Ann Klotz Featured in Cleveland.com Highlighting Laurel's Unique 125th Anniversary Celebrations

Ann V. Klotz was featured in a recent Cleveland.com piece where she highlighted the many unique ways in which Laurel has celebrated its 125th year of educating girls "to do good in a complicated world."
In the story she explains that, despite the strangeness of the school year, the anniversary celebration has been going on since October in various ways, from banners attached to poles surrounding Lyman Circle to special t-shirts, cookies and lawn signs commemorating this milestone year. Ann also walks through the history of Laurel, mentioning Laurel founder Jennie Prentiss (who founded the school when she was only 25) and Sarah Lyman, who became Head of School in 1904. In addition, Ann highlights the special journal project that began this year for students in Fourth Grade and higher. She stated that, "I thought it was very important for the girls to know that they are in a moment of history -- of course we always are -- but this seems like a particular moment, so students and a number of alumnae are keeping journals about life at Laurel."
