Ella Workinger '28 Competes at the International Children's Games

The event took place over four days, with over 1,000 young athletes competing from over 70 cities worldwide. The International Children's Games included seven different sports. Ella competed in both singles and doubles tennis and had the opportunity to play against girls from Thailand, Israel, Spain and Canada. Of the experience, Ella said her "favorite part was making friends with so many kids from different backgrounds, but knowing that we all played tennis made it more fun!" We are excited to see Ella on Laurel's Middle School tennis team this fall!
