Emma Davidson ‘24 Receives Memorial Scholarship from Geauga County Beekeepers Association

Congratulations to Emma Davidson '24, who received a memorial scholarship from the Geauga County Beekeepers Association in honor of Eleanor Spirka, a long-serving association member and dedicated beekeeper.

The scholarship is open to 12-16-year-old Geauga County residents interested in becoming beekeepers themselves. As a scholarship recipient, Emma received bees, equipment, a club member designated as a mentor, and a one-year club membership. Emma has been working with her bees for two months so far and has begun the honey-collecting process.
