Lori Kella Featured in Exhibit at Photocentric

Upper School Visual Art Teacher Lori Kella has worked over the past eight months in her studio to create a new series of photographs that examine the dramatic coastal erosion along the shores of Lake Erie.
Ms. Kella’s work premiered at Photocentric in Cleveland on April 1, and the exhibition “Lori Kella: The Edge of Things” is on view now through May 14. Her work will be featured in State of the Art 2020: Constructs at the Sarasota Art Museum, opening on April 22 (Earth Day!), and the work will be on display until September 11, 2022. She also recently had work featured in Lens2022 at Perspective Gallery in Evanston, IL, Continuum at the Akron Art Museum, the 2021 Biennial Juried Exhibition at the Riffe Gallery in Columbus, and the Medici Museum in Warren, OH. Additionally, Ms. Kella was recently selected as one of Akron Soul Train’s Artist in Residence for the 2022 season. She will compete in a month-long residency during June with a subsequent exhibition in their galleries in mid-July. In July and August, she will participate in the CAN Triennial.
