Chagrin Valley Times Features Laurel’s First-Ever EcoFest

Laurel School was featured in a Chagrin Valley Times piece highlighting the first-ever EcoFest, which took place at the Butler Campus on October 22.
The piece includes quotes from Laurel Head of School Ann V. Klotz, who said in the story, "Our goal is to equip girls to be changemakers with regards to the natural world, and also to give them a tool kit that will allow them to make a change in whatever communities they occupy going forward."

Angela Yeager, Director of Laurel's Environmental Justice Program, was quoted throughout the piece where she spoke about EcoFest and the launch of the new Environmental Justice semester. She said, "Butler is a great model for looking to our natural spaces for solutions. Nature has the power to calm, to focus, and inspire students." Click here to read the full story.
