Upper School Swimmers Finish Season Strong

There were several personal bests, Laurel swimmers moved up in the rankings, and there was an excellent showing by Laurel’s relay teams! Eliza Emmet ‘25 finished 9th in the 100 backstroke (narrowly missing a qualifying time for States!) and 30th in the 100 freestyle. Savannah Tidmore ‘25 finished 22nd in the 100 freestyle and 25th in the 50 freestyle. The 200 medley relay of Eliza E., Madie Malbasa ‘24, Savannah T., and Fiona Boyd ‘26 finished in 19th place. The 200 freestyle relay of Stella Fox ‘26, Fiona B., Eliza E., and Savannah T. finished in 20th place, and the 400 free relay of Stella F., Celia Doherty ‘26, Fiona B., and Juliana DiSalvo ‘26 finished in 23rd place. The District meet capped off a great season in which all seven swimmers qualified for the competitive District meet. Go Gators!
