Laurel School offers enriched, supervised after-school care for students from Early Learners through Eighth Grade. Our programs run from dismissal until 6:00 p.m. on days when school is in session. Whether your child needs a quiet place to study, a creative outlet, or time to run on the playground, we provide a safe and engaging environment that fits your family’s schedule.

Early Childhood–Primary School: Supervised Play

Our Supervised Play program for Early Learners – Grade 5 balances relaxation with activity. Located near our playgrounds and spacious Multipurpose Room, students are divided by grade level to ensure an age-appropriate setting.

A typical afternoon includes options for:

Quiet Time: A dedicated space for homework or reading a book.
Recharge: Time to enjoy a snack and decompress.
Active Play: Access to playgrounds and the Multipurpose Room for running and games.

Middle School: The Homework Room

We know that life in Grades 6–8 is busy. Between school plays, sports, and extracurriculars, parents need flexible options. The Homework Room provides a comfortable, supervised space for students to bridge the gap between dismissal and pickup. Students can complete assignments, enjoy a snack, or play a relaxing game with friends.

Because Middle School schedules can vary week-to-week, we offer flexible pricing options for our Grade 6–8 families.

Enrichment: Classes, Clubs & Music

Inspired learning continues after the school day ends. In addition to general care, we are pleased to offer a rotating selection of specialized activities to spark new interests.

Laurel School Music Academy: Offers private, group, and Suzuki instruction for voice and a wide selection of instruments.
Active & Academic: Offerings often include sports, adventure programs, academic enrichment, and creative arts classes.
