How We Support Laurel

With parents’ help, the LSPA works to enrich the Laurel School community in many different ways.

Support, Development and Education of the Laurel School Community

Faculty & staff appreciation events throughout the year
Fund division-based spirit events
Host LCRG events, forums, and special guest speakers
Gift school jackets to all 9th Grade students
End-of-year and class holiday parties
Welcome coffee for parents
Staff Admissions events
Run Book Swap
Plan and run an all-school parent party
Host new incoming families
Represent Laurel in Cleveland Consortium of Independent Schools (CCIS)
Support Grades 5 and 8 Promotions
Support service projects for various local non-profits
Humanitas Award
Hospitality and flowers for events throughout the year

Special events and treats for all grades including during exam week
Assist with the following special events:
- Back to School Ice Cream Social
- Green & White Day
- After Prom
- Dance chaperones
- Upper School dance planning
- Class breakfasts
- Song Contest breakfast
- Field trip chaperoning
- Kindergarten Iron Girl
- Greek Olympics
- Snowflake Ballet
- Family Movie Night at Butler
