Household Goods is a nonprofit organization that provides a full range of new and donated household items and furniture, free of charge, to people in need to make a home. Volunteers will help sort, organize, move small items and make sure items are stable and clean. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes. There will be a mandatory 15-minute training (from 8:45 - 9:00 am) before the volunteer shift begins.
Join fellow alums at Cradles to Crayons' Giving Factory warehouse and assist in processing and packaging donations of new and nearly new children's items and essentials for distribution to local disadvantaged children. We will have donuts at 9:30 am at Cradles to Crayons and then after our volunteer shift the camaraderie will continue (everyone pays for their own lunch) at Coalfire Pizza, 3707 N Southport Ave, Chicago, IL 60613

Drop off new or good-quality, used children's books at Laurel's Lyman Campus between September 28 and October 10. Books for early childhood through 3rd grade are especially needed.
