About

Working At Laurel

At Laurel School, the fulfillment of our mission: “To inspire each girl to fulfill her promise and to better the world” requires that we respect and fully honor each member of our community. Our mission and our values—"Committed to building a just and inclusive world, Laurel girls are courageous, creative, ethical and compassionate.”—guide our efforts to be a school that fosters a strong culture of belonging.
We know our school community is better and that students learn better from multiple perspectives. We value a wide variety of experiences and perspectives in all constituencies—students, faculty, parents/guardians and staff.

Laurel School seeks talented faculty and staff who want to join an environment where our students are first and all adults in the building strive to make a difference in their lives.
We seek to attract culturally and academically diverse faculty and staff members who thrive on being engaged participants in our community. The most successful candidates are solutions driven, are willing to listen to learn, embrace iteration and practice as a necessary part of the product, see opportunities before problems, and thrive in a fast-paced, forward-thinking educational environment.
