  • Campus Tours

    Prospective students and families are invited to tour Laurel's Lyman and Butler Campuses throughout the school year. Individual and small group tours are offered during regular school hours and on select weekdays after school.
  • Classroom Visits (Prospective K-12)

    Prospective students may schedule individualized visits to Laurel classrooms throughout the school year. Visiting students will meet current students and faculty, and will experience Laurel's curriculum first-hand by engaging in classroom activities. Students applying to Grades 9-12 may visit on most Fridays during the academic year; all other grades are scheduled on an individual basis based on classroom schedules.

    Laurel School is dedicated to keeping the health and safety of both our school community and those interested in learning more about Laurel at the forefront of what we do.

Getting to Our Lyman Campus

1 Lyman Circle, Shaker Heights, OH 44122
The main entrance of the school is marked by a flagpole and a low stone wall that says “Laurel School”. There are reserved parking spaces for admissions visitors on the main entrance’s driveway, conveniently located by the front door. After you enter the building through the main double doors, the Admissions Office is located immediately to the right.

Getting to Our Butler Campus

7420 Fairmount Road, Novelty, OH 44072
To reach the Butler Campus from Cleveland and Shaker Heights, follow Fairmount Boulevard east. The entrance to the campus is 3.3 miles east of SOM Center Road, between County Line Road and Caves Road. Parking is available across from the tennis courts, almost all the way up the drive towards the Butler Center.

    Butler Campus Open House

    Discover Laurel’s Two-Campus Advantage!

    Join us for an open house at Laurel School’s beautiful 150-acre Butler Campus in Novelty, Ohio — an inspiring learning environment used by every Laurel student.     Bring Your Friend to School Day (Grades 1-8)

    Does your daughter have a friend at another school who is curious about an all-girls’ education?  Invite her to spend the day with your Laurel girl, experiencing the power of interdisciplinary and experiential curriculum while meeting her Laurel friends! This is a favorite event in the Laurel community–space is limited and we may not be able to accommodate every request. Please note that Laurel will not be able to provide before- or after-school care for visitors; guests in Grades 1 and 2 will be at Laurel for a half-day experience.

    Sarah Lyman Merit Scholarship Event

    As part of the Sarah Lyman Scholarship application process, qualifying students are invited to attend an event at the Lyman Campus. The on-campus experience will allow students to discuss their achievements, interests and aspirations beyond their written scholarship application. Students will have the opportunity to engage in group activities and meet individually with a member of the Scholarship Selection Committee.
