    OPEN HOUSES
    These events showcase all aspects of the Laurel student experience, and each one features different grade levels and divisions.
    • October 9, 2025: Lyman Campus Grades 6-12
    • October 23, 2025: Butler Campus Early Childhood-Grade 12
    • January 10, 2026: Lyman Campus Early Learners (18 mos)-PreK
    • April 18, 2026: Lyman Campus Early Childhood-Grade 12

Classroom Visits

  • Prospective K-12 Students

    Prospective students may schedule individualized visits to Laurel classrooms throughout the school year. Visiting students will meet current students and faculty, and will experience Laurel's curriculum first-hand by engaging in classroom activities. Students applying to Grades 9-12 may visit on most Fridays during the academic year; all other grades are scheduled on an individual basis based on classroom schedules. Please reach out directly to the Admissions Office to schedule a student visit.

  • 2025-26 Upper School Visit Days

    For students applying for Upper School for the 2026-27 school year, a visit is required as part of the application process. Grades 9-12 applicants are invited to experience Laurel campus life and classes on the following dates in 2025:

    Friday, October 17
    Tuesday, October 28
    Friday, November 14
    Friday, November 21
    Friday, December 5
    Friday, December 12
    Pre-registration is required. For details and to schedule a visit, please contact the Admissions Office at admissions@LaurelSchool.org or 216.464.0946.

    Laurel's Admissions application deadline for the 2026-2027 school year is January 19, 2026.

Getting to Our Lyman Campus

1 Lyman Circle, Shaker Heights, OH 44122
The main entrance of the school is marked by a flagpole and a low stone wall that says “Laurel School”. There are reserved parking spaces for admissions visitors on the main entrance’s driveway, conveniently located by the front door. After you enter the building through the main double doors, the Admissions Office is located immediately to the right.

Getting to Our Butler Campus

7420 Fairmount Road, Novelty, OH 44072
To reach the Butler Campus from Cleveland and Shaker Heights, follow Fairmount Boulevard east. The entrance to the campus is 3.3 miles east of SOM Center Road, between County Line Road and Caves Road. Parking is available across from the tennis courts, almost all the way up the drive towards the Butler Center.

    Look@Laurel for Prospective Parents, Early Learners to Prekindergarten (Parents Only)

    Discover how Laurel School’s Early Childhood School nurtures creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in young children ages 18 months to 5 years. Through our play-based, cognitively rich curriculum, we help every child grow with confidence and joy.
    Prospective parents will learn how Laurel creates an environment where children thrive — guided by caring teachers, thoughtfully designed classrooms, and research-backed practices that honor each child’s unique path of development.

    Additionally, there will be an optional tour of the Outdoor Prekindergarten program at the Butler Campus from 10:30-11:15am.
