Kindergarten-Grade 5 Application

Laurel School accepts applications for Kindergarten–Grade 5 throughout the year. The below checklist outlines the application requirements. All items must be completed before the Admissions Committee will review your application.

- Parent/guardian questionnaire (complete online through the above link or print the pdf version)
- Teacher evaluation for Grades 1-5 to be completed by current teacher (complete online through the above link or print the pdf version)
- Teacher evaluation for Kindergarten to be completed by current teacher (complete online through the above link of print pdf version)
- Records from candidate’s current school (complete online through the above link or print the pdf version)

Student Screening
- Students are required to complete an academic assessment as part of their application to Laurel.
- Kindergarten assessments will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026.

Sarah Lyman Merit Scholarship Event
3:30 PM to 5:30 PM
As part of the Sarah Lyman Scholarship application process, qualifying students are invited to attend an event at the Lyman Campus. The on-campus experience will allow students to discuss their achievements, interests and aspirations beyond their written scholarship application. Students will have the opportunity to engage in group activities and meet individually with a member of the Scholarship Selection Committee.
