Kindergarten-Grade 5 Application

Laurel School accepts applications for Kindergarten–Grade 5 throughout the year. The below checklist outlines the application requirements. All items must be completed before the Admissions Committee will review your application.

  • Application

    • Application (complete online through the above link or print the pdf version)
    • $40 non-refundable application fee
    • Parent/guardian questionnaire (complete online through the above link or print the pdf version)
    • Teacher evaluation for Grades 1-5 to be completed by current teacher (complete online through the above link or print the pdf version)
    • Teacher evaluation for Kindergarten to be completed by current teacher (complete online through the above link of print pdf version)
    • Records from candidate’s current school (complete online through the above link or print the pdf version)
  • Student and Parent Visit

    The best way to learn more about Laurel is by scheduling a visit. Find out how on our Visiting Laurel page.
  • Student Screening

    • Students are required to complete an academic assessment as part of their application to Laurel.
    • Assessments will be offered on specific dates in January TBD.

    Environmental Justice Semester Virtual Information Session

    Please join us virtually to learn about Laurel's Environmental Justice Semester, our immersive, academic semester program open to Tenth and Eleventh Grade girls on Laurel's 150-acre Butler Campus in Russell Township, Ohio. The semester is centered around place-based learning and deep interdisciplinary scholarship while working to build student capacity for compelling storytelling and to foster ethical leadership.
