Dr. Deborah J. Cohan, author of The Complete U: Over 100 Lessons for Success in and out of the College Classroom, will join us at Laurel’s Lyman Campus to share her wisdom and advice gathered from a long career as a college educator. Drawing on decades of experience working directly with college students, Dr. Cohan offers practical, honest insights into what truly helps young adults thrive once they arrive on campus.

Eric Hudson is a prominent voice in education and a speaker focusing on how teachers, students, and parents respond to generative artificial intelligence. Eric will join us for Laurel’s Center for Research for Girls Spring Community Forum hosted by Laurel School’s Parent Association to discuss how both parents and educators can navigate the complexities of artificial intelligence in our children' s lives.

When pediatric sleep expert Dr. Melisa Moore had her first child, she already had a decade of experience helping families overcome sleep challenges, but nothing prepared her for the reality of managing sleep in her own household. The traditional advice she’d relied on as a clinician felt too rigid, unrealistic, and ineffective for real life. So she went to work to create the flexible, evidence-based approach she offers in her new book The Good Sleep Guide for Neurodivergent Kids (New World Library, March 4, 2026).
Dr. Moore will join us at Laurel’s Lyman Campus for an engaging talk for parents of neurotypical and neurodivergent kids alike, Melisa will explore the science of sleep in a way that makes sense for real family life.
