Speech and Debate Finishes 16th at State Tournament

In Lincoln-Douglas, Shaashwatiyaa Balamurugan '28 broke to octafinals. McKenna Caver '26, Violet Vitale '28, Julia Duong '26, and the team of Yamini Sridhar '28 and Alissa Mannikin '29 broke to quarterfinals in Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Program Oral Interpretation, and Duo Interpretation, respectively. In Congressional Debate, Reese Samala '29 and Rana Abdelhadi '28 advanced to the semifinals. In Public Forum, the team of Hannah Rosenfeld '27 and Aleka Dodla '26 made it to the final round, finishing as state runner-ups. Also advancing to finals, Ana Rubio-Calvillo '27 placed 4th in United States Extemporaneous Speaking.
