Aleka Dodla '26 Named Grand Prize Winner in Ohio Pitch Contest

Big congrats to Aleka Dodla ’26, who was named a Grand Prize Winner in the Young Entrepreneur Institute’s Ohio Pitch Contest for her Capstone project, “Money Savvy”, a financial literacy program designed to empower middle school students with essential, real-world money skills.

Selected from more than 1,000 entries across all age divisions and one of just three high school Grand Prize winners, this recognition highlights the impact and innovation behind her work.

Through Money Savvy, Aleka is bridging the gap between classroom learning and everyday financial decision-making, providing practical tools, resources, and guidance to help students build confidence and independence.
