Hannah Rosenfeld ‘27 Earns 2nd at Veale thinkBIG! Challenge
Congratulations to Hannah Rosenfeld '27, whose Capstone Project RISE (Reentry Inspiring Systemic Equality) earned 2nd place in the Small Business Track at the Veale Youth Entrepreneurship Forum thinkBIG! Challenge. Out of more than 120 student competitors, Hannah’s project was selected as one of just three finalists.
RISE is a six-month, opt-in program supporting girls ages 12–14 reentering their communities after incarceration. Through civic tools like petition writing and advocacy letters, participants build confidence, leadership skills, and a lasting sense of agency.
We also celebrate Ana Rubio-Calvillo ‘27 and Brooke Robinson ‘26, whose projects “The Inventory” and “The Get Up Mattress” earned honorable mentions in this year’s competition!
