Middle School Mock Trial Earns Awards at Latest Competition

Congratulations to the Middle School Mock Trial team who delivered a powerful, polished performance based on the story of “The Outsiders”, bringing energy, creativity, and commitment to every moment in the courtroom.

Special congratulations to our award winners:

Ivy Collins ’31: Best Witness for an immersive and compelling portrayal of Ponyboy, brought to life through voice, movement, and detail.
Annalise Akram ’31: Best Witness for a powerful and emotionally resonant performance as Randy, capturing the courtroom with authenticity and control.
Alaine Hagman ’30: Best Lawyer for a standout rebuttal that proved pivotal in response to the defense’s closing.

Special congratulations to Maddie Friedman ’26, who, through her Capstone project, brought Mock Trial to Laurel’s Middle School students.
