Mia Dent ‘23 and Zoe Dent ‘27 Co-Author Curriculum for Black Girl-Serving Organizations

The curriculum, which was developed for Black girl-serving organizations, was released in August 2025 and is already being used in Massachusetts, Ohio, and North Carolina. Mia and Zoe worked with Licensed Clinical Psychologist Dr. Tiffany Monford, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Living at the Intersections, Inc., to develop the curriculum, which delves into critical topics relevant to the experiences of Black girls, including creating safe spaces, identity and intersectionality, challenging beauty standards, navigating negative perceptions, and so much more.
