The SAT Reasoning Test, designed to test math and critical reading skills, is a three hour exam. Each portion of the SAT is graded on a scale from 200 to 800. SAT Subject Tests measure knowledge of a single subject area. The hour-long, multiple-choice Subject Tests are given on the same dates as the SAT, except in March when only the SAT is offered.
