Eloise Peckham ’26 Guest DJs on JCU Radio Through Capstone Project

As a follow-up to her Capstone project on music criticism, Eloise Peckham ’26 is a regular radio DJ for WJCU’s Heights Program on the John Carroll University radio station. Eloise is on air every Wednesday from 4:00 - 6:00pm.
Eloise has always been passionate about listening to, learning about, and talking about music and popular culture. Using her Capstone Project to take this passion further, Eloise researched the history of radio broadcasting by reading and analyzing old pieces of music criticism, op-eds, and scholarly papers she could find. She took her findings and launched a Substack with her own written work.

While her Capstone project ended last year, Eloise hopes to move her Substack community to a more in-person format by establishing a student radio program in partnership with John Carroll’s WJCU. Her guest DJ spot is a step toward making that dream a reality.
