Abigail Steinberg Offers Advice for Attending Open Houses
In a recent Cleveland Jewish News story, Abigail Steinberg, Director of Enrollment Management, says attending an open house is a great way for parents and students to get a glimpse of if they can see themselves as members of the school community.
In the article, Abigail states that, “It is important to find a high school that is a good fit; not only in terms of academics and extracurricular opportunities but also to ensure a girl and her family can see themselves as members of the community. Visiting campus for a tour or open house should not only be about gathering information, but also can serve as a way to connect with current Laurel students and faculty. It’s a way to immerse yourself in the school community to see what sets Laurel apart.”
Abigail also goes on to highlight some of the many reasons she gives when parents ask her “why Laurel?” From Laurel’s Center for Research on Girls to the two-campus advantage with both Lyman and Butler, there is no shortage of reasons that make Laurel a top notch choice for girls.
