Claire Leland ‘26 Highlighted by Veale Youth Entrepreneurs

Claire Leland ‘26 was featured in the Veale Youth Entrepreneurship September Newsletter about her Capstone project, the Celiac Support Collective.

Claire, who has Celiac disease, raises money to help provide gluten-free food and educational materials to food banks in order to get safe foods to others like her who cannot eat gluten.

In her interview, Claire highlights the process of creating her own business and what she did to launch back in April, when she provided her first gluten-free donation to the Emergency Assistance Center in Northfield, Ohio. Claire also discusses challenges she has faced and how she generates revenue through donations and winning pitch contests to raise money to purchase gluten-free foods.

In case you missed it, Claire was also interviewed this summer for a WKYC piece about Celiac Support Collective. Check it out here!
