8 Laurel Students Qualify for National Speech & Debate Tournament

Laurel's Speech and Debate team shone at the NSDA District Tournament where eight Laurel students qualified for the National Tournament, which will take place in Richmond, Virginia this June!

Congratulations to our national qualifiers: Hannah Rosenfeld ’27, Violet Vitale ’28, Taraja Grimes ’28, Brooke Prengler ’28, Ana Rubio-Calvillo ’27, McKenna Caver ’26, Julia Duong ’26, and Rana Abdelhadi ’28.

We also celebrate three new state qualifiers, which brings our total to 23 this season: Mia Kwon ’28, Caitlyn Vigh ’28, and Emma Stein-Maneiro ’27. The State Tournament is from March 5-7 in Canfield, Ohio.
