Gator Days: Screening Event for Early Childhood and Kindergarten Applicants
Lyman Campus
Children applying to our Early Learners, Preschool, Prekindergarten and Kindergarten programs are invited—along with their parents—to attend Gator Day, a required step in the admission process. During this engaging, play-based morning, Early Childhood applicants will interact with our teachers and future classmates in a warm, nurturing environment designed to gently assess school readiness. Students applying for Kindergarten spend time in a Kindergarten classroom and sit for an individual Kindergarten-readiness assessment.
While Preschool, Prekindergarten and Kindergarten children play and explore, parents will join Laurel administrators to learn more about our philosophy, curriculum, and what sets Laurel’s Early Childhood program apart. Our Early Learners will screen alongside their parents, making it a welcoming experience for the whole family. REGISTER HERE!
As part of the Sarah Lyman Scholarship application process, qualifying students are invited to attend an event at the Lyman Campus. The on-campus experience will allow students to discuss their achievements, interests and aspirations beyond their written scholarship application. Students will have the opportunity to engage in group activities and meet individually with a member of the Scholarship Selection Committee.
