Fiona Thackaberry Stevens ‘30 and Gabrielle Haigh ‘09 Shine in “The Higgler”

The opera, which was performed at Disciples Christian Church in Cleveland Heights, is based on the short story by A.E. Coppard. It is set in rural England and explores themes of class, unacknowledged love, and the quiet complexities of village life. Fiona played the role of Margaret and Gabrielle played the lead role of Mary. 

Fiona will also perform at the Porthouse Theatre this summer in the role of Madison and as an understudy for Summer in “School of Rock”. The show runs July 18-August 3. For tickets and additional details, click here.
