New Turf at Laurel’s Butler Campus Focus of Chagrin Valley Times Story

Laurel’s new 77,000-square-foot turf field has been unveiled at the Butler Campus and was the center of a recent Chagrin Valley Times story. The Linsalata Field, which will support field hockey in the fall and lacrosse in the spring, will elevate athletics at Laurel.

In addition to providing Upper School athletes with a premier surface for competition, it allows for four-season physical activity for every Laurel student, giving the Butler Campus’s youngest learners a safe, dry place to play year-round. Head of School Christina Breen, head field hockey coach Meghan Daly, and Athletic Director David Meyer, were each quoted throughout the piece.

“We are excited to raise the level of all our programs,” said Christina Breen, Head of School.
“Everyone has been extremely excited to get on the turf,” said Ms. Daly. “We give [our students] such a great experience here,” said Mr. Meyer. “We wanted to give them a home-field advantage.”
