Gwenyth Vokes ‘28 Featured in Cleveland Magazine

Gwenyth Vokes ‘28 was featured in the September issue of Cleveland Magazine for her Laurel Protégé project, which centers on veterinary medicine. Gwenyth has been riding horses competitively since a young age and has always had an affinity for animals so this project aligned perfectly with her interests.
In her profile piece, Gwenyth talks about her desire to get into veterinarian school, which ultimately led to her Protégé project. In addition to interviewing veterinarians, through Protégé, Gwenyth was invited to observe some surgeries and even interviewed vets post-op to experience more of what takes place during follow-up care. Gwenyth even attended a summer veterinarian science camp at the urging of her Protégé mentor and has been able to network and set up some long-term relationships with vets to help lay the groundwork for a very bright future in veterinary medicine.
