Laurel’s Head of School Christina Breen was featured in a Currents Magazine piece highlighting her official Installation as Laurel’s 11th Head of School on September 19 at Severance Music Center.
The story highlights Ms. Breen’s experience leading up to her time at Laurel, including 17 years spent at Phillips Exeter Academy. The piece also details the Installation, which included Laurel students, parents, faculty, staff and alumnae. Ms. Breen is quoted in the story where she says, “We plan to do some deep dives into understanding girls’ mental health issues, as well as AI in the classroom and marketplace, women in leadership roles, and promoting and producing future leaders. Ms. Breen also highlights Laurel’s Butler Campus and the school’s emphasis on athletic facilities and offerings.
