The Maker Monday class is the perfect place for students to explore all the Collaboratory has to offer through a combination of guided projects and independent exploration. The first guided project will be a personalized stamp, which we will create using the 3D printers and laser cutter. The second guided project will be holiday themed suncatchers, created using the laser cutter and upcycled materials. The third guided project will be silicone molds that could be used for candy or frozen treats. Students will also have ample opportunity to design, refine and create their own projects using a wide array of materials and hand tools. Past  student projects include monster bots, puzzles, hand sewn stuffed animals, desk organizers, light-up snowflakes, trash collectors and junk boats, bottle cap glam, catapults, games and secret storage boxes.

Ms. Redmond will meet students at the Early Childhood entrance before the start of class to walk them to the Collaboratory, and walk them back to the Early Childhood Entrance for pick up at 5:00pm. Students will have time before class to eat a Laurel provided snack.
