Karen Redmond Weighs in on Laurel's Collaboratory in Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine

Technology Innovation Specialist and Maker Mentor, Karen Redmond was recently featured in Northeast Ohio Parent's Magazine where she weighed in on Laurel's Collaboratory and how students use the space to create, tinker and learn.
In the story she states that, "Students come in and feel more relaxed, because they’re building something of their own design, not something assigned for a class. They have the freedom to make mistakes and self-correct.” Karen goes on to highlight a recent project that stood out where students used CAD program to design and then printed customized chocolate candy molds in the 3D printer using food-grade silicone.
