Eve Belding ‘25 Wins Heroux Devtek Award at NEOSEF
Eve Belding ‘25 participated in the Northeast Ohio Science and Engineering Fair (NEOSEF) in March where she presented her finite element analysis (FEA) research on knot strength and knot load-carrying capacities.
Eve was awarded the Heroux Devtek Special Award for the “best project using the scientific method and problem-solving in a mechanical or aerospace engineering application.” Heroux Devtek is a global company specializing in the designing, building, maintenance, and repairs of crucial components for aircraft, including landing gear for the lunar modules of NASA’s Apollo 11 mission! Congratulations!
