Alaire Bang ‘24 Received Beachwood Arts Council Si and Shirley Washsberger Arts Scholarship

Alaire Bang ‘24 is the recipient of this year’s Beachwood Arts Council Si and Shirley Washsberger Arts Scholarship.

This award was created to recognize a student who excelled in visual arts, demonstrated a passion for the arts, and planned to pursue the arts by further developing his or her skills at college. Alaire will attend the Beachwood Arts Council Annual Meeting in June where she will present some of her art and receive her prize money. Paula Rollins, President and Chairperson of the scholarship award committee said of Alaire, “Her exemplary talent and obvious passion for visual arts were most definitely recognized by the committee. We are certain that she will be successful in her plans this fall.”

The Beachwood Arts Council is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that has supported the arts in Northeast Ohio since 1964.
