Laurel Students See Impressive Results at Northeastern Ohio Science and Engineering Fair

Congratulations to Sam Iyer '24, Kaitlyn Ernst '24, and Eve Belding '25 who all competed at the Northeastern Ohio Science and Engineering Fair (NEOSEF). 
Sam competed in the Biological Sciences category and was one of five 1st place Grand Prize winners as well as the recipient of three special awards from the Cleveland Clinic Department of Inflammation & Immunity, Cleveland Clinic Department of Neurosciences, and Case Western Reserve University, Women Faculty of the School of Medicine. As a Grand Prize winner, Sam qualifies to compete in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in May. Kaitlyn received 2nd in the Health and Medicine category along with special awards from the American Statistical Association, Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, and Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Eve won 1st place in the 9/10 Earth & Space Sciences category and special awards from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (Northern Ohio section) and the American Statistical Association Cleveland chapter.
