News-Herald Highlights National Merit Commended Student

Commended students are among the top 50,000 scorers in the country. Although Commended Students will not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, some may be candidates for Special Scholarships provided by corporate and business sponsors.

Dani joins seven other Laurel Seniors in being recognized by the National Merit Scholarship program. These eight students in total make up 19 percent of the Senior class.
