Kaitlyn Ernst ‘23 and Sam Iyer ‘24 Both Named Melvin Scholars

Kaitlyn Ernst ‘23 and Sam Iyer ‘24 have both been named 2023 Melvin Scholars

and were chosen by the Ohio Academy of Science on the basis of their original science research presentations, which both girls recently presented at the Buckeye Science & Engineering Fair. They will represent Ohio at the American Junior Academy of Science National Conference. In addition, Kaitlyn received the Office of Naval Research—U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps Award.
