Abigail Steinberg Highlights Unique Ways Laurel Has Adapted Open Houses

Abigail Steinberg, Director of Enrollment, was included in a Cleveland Jewish News piece highlighting some of the ways in which schools have adapted when it comes to open houses. "As with the rest of the world, we had to get creative with our events this year and how families learn about Laurel,” Steinberg said. “This past spring, we launched “Laurel on Your Laptop” as part of our website, which offers families a video-series of interviews with members of the Laurel community to dive deeper into our academic offerings and signature programming so families can learn about Laurel from the comfort of their home. As we do not have visitors during the school-day this year for the health and safety of our community, most of our events have shifted to a virtual format.” In the article Abigail touches on a few of the benefits of utilizing platforms like Zoom to connect with new families.
